Guiding Principle
Our guiding principle is one of inclusion. We want to identify and break down possible barriers to learning. The aims of education for pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities are the same as those for all pupils.
Resources
The department has its own classroom and two smaller rooms for working with small groups or individual pupils, is well resourced to include ICT as a medium to support pupils learning, and maintains links with other agencies and voluntary organisations.
The department works closely with the Educational Welfare Office and Schools Educational Psychology Service.
We also maintain links with:-
